Background The award-winning Mobile Passport App by Airside was launched in 2014 as the first app authorized by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (U.S. CBP) to streamline the international customs process at most major U.S. airports and cruise ports. A record 10M U.S. and Canadian passport holders trusted the app for quickly entering the United States. Airside Digital ID App The Mobile Passport App by Airside was just the beginning. This app also provides a link to the Airside Digital ID App for new mobile ID services when traveling with American Airlines, renting your dream apartment, showing your health pass and more. Store your verified passports and driver’s licenses and other ID documents for free. You decide if, how, and with whom to share your ID. Save time with your digital ID. RushMyPassport Airside and Expedited Travel partnered to create a combined service offering of the Mobile Passport App and RushMyPassport online passport application services with the U.S. Department of State. To prepare for future trips, travelers can find a direct link to RushMyPassport on the home screen of the Mobile Passport App, and complete the administrative work, digitally, without an in-person visit to a passport office or enrollment center. 5th time using this at big ports of entry... lax, jfk and iad. No wait, no fuss, no anger. Bravo! Truly a godsend at LAX when 3 380s land at one time!

Used it yesterday for the first time in Chicago. Hassle free. No paper. Great app and great initiative on the part of CBP.

Got on my flight to US and heard about the app. Downloaded it and filled in my info. Super easy. Landed and uploaded my trip. Never breezed through US Customs so quickly.

I landed at LAX and used Mobile Pass for the first time. There was one person in front of me in line and passing customs took me no more than 5 minutes. Couldn’t have been easier. Love this app!

Very easy to set-up account, including family members. You can easily complete the “new trip” receipt prior to landing, and submit once at port of arrival. There is a priority line at customs for the app users - the amount of time saved is significant. I highly recommend this app for all US, Canadian passport holders, as well as returning ESTA.
  • Would have been faster to go through line

One of the airport assistants reconfigured the line so the mobile pass line stood still for 15 mins while the other passengers streamed past us. A more aggressive passenger eventually questioned what she was doing. She apologized but obviously was not expecting mobile pass customers.
